Pre-production

Preparing the right groundwork is essential to developing a great video. Pre-production is where we figure out the best game plan for your business.

Production

This is where we shoot the actual video. Here are the video production services (and staffing considerations) that go into production:

• Producer is involved in all the stages of production from planning to completion. This includes coordination and supervision of the budget, talent, etc.
• The Director of Photography works with the director to execute the vision for the script. They oversee the camera operations and lighting and create the visuals that will tell the story.
• The Drone Operator operates the drone cameras used for video production.
• The Production Assistant is responsible for communications between the various production departments and managing lockups.

Post-production

After the video has been filmed, post-production begins. This stage includes:

• Video editing
• Motion graphics
• Recording voice-overs or voice acting
• Audio mastering
• Delivering files

To complete the work outlined in the scope of services, we'll need approximately [6 weeks] from beginning to completion, depending also on when we receive feedback at each milestone. Upon signing the proposal, we are prepared to start work immediately.

This Video Production Proposal is a legally-binding, verified agreement between both [client company] and [your company] with the intention to facilitate and maintain a video production relationship.

Services Rendered

We will work with you throughout the preproduction, production phases of this project. We agree to give our best efforts to fulfill and exceed your expectation on the deliverables listed above. You agree to cooperate with us in doing so by making available to Production Company needed information pertaining to your website and to cooperate with Production Company in expediting the work.

Terms of Payment

The total budget for this project: [total]

Production Company will invoice Client for [fifty percent (50%)] of the initial fees prior to the start of the project. The remaining 50% will be billed monthly as the service hours are spent or when the project is launched.

Cancellation

Both parties have the right to modify, reject, cancel or stop any and all plans or work in process. Client agrees to reimburse Production Company for all costs and expenses Production Company incurred prior to your change in instructions, which relate to non-cancelable commitments, and to defend, indemnify and hold us harmless for any liability relating to such action. Production Company agrees to use best efforts to minimize such costs and expenses.

Ownership

Unless otherwise specified in this contract, both the Client and the Production Company agree that the client owns all rights, interests, and titles to the video, including both the finished output and the creative idea that inspired it.

The Client owns all pre-production and post-production footage, which are allowed to used on Client’s websites, social media platforms, commercial video platforms, and other content platforms.

During the contracted job, the Client grants the Production Company a transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free license to the media clips’ post-production deliverables. Both parties will agree on how pre-production clips will be handled.

Confidentiality

Production Company acknowledges its responsibility, both during and after the term of its appointment, to use all reasonable efforts to preserve the confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information or data provided by Client.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province/State of STATE/PROVINCE.

Entire Agreement

Except as otherwise referred in this Agreement, this Agreement constitutes the sole and entire Agreement and understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions, agreements, and understandings of every kind and nature between them as to such subject matter.

Acceptance

With signatures on this contract from both Client and Producer Company, the entirety of this agreement will be upheld. By signing, both parties agree to uphold full terms until the contract’s expiry or by the termination of this agreement concluded by both parties.
