Using The Currency Conversion Tool In QuoteCloud

The Currency Conversions Plugin allows your sales consultants to convert your local currency to foreign currency when creating sales quotes. This plugin is updated hourly to ensure your currency conversions are as accurate as possible.

With help installing this plugin, see Activating the Realtime Currency Conversions Plugin.

Once the plugin has been activated, when in the Sales Quote Editor, a currency selection drop down menu in the top navigation bar will now show the currency exchange rates.

Select your preferred currency from the dropdown list. In the below example we have used "United Kingdom - British Pound (GBP)'

All costs in your sales quote will now be shown in the new currency, your prices will be updated using the exchange rate selected .

It is important to keep in mind that while the Currency Conversions Plugin rates are updated hourly, once the sales quote has been sent off, the rates will remain as they were at the time the sales quote was sent.
