Allowing a Customer to Change the Quantity to Order
This user guide topic shows how you can allow your customers to be able to choose the quantity to order for the entire price table, a group of line items within a sub-heading, or for a single price line item(s).
Allow A Customer To Choose The "Quantity To Order" For An Entire Price Table
Click on the Settings button for the price table.
The Price Table Settings window will popup up. Click on the Settings tab.
To allow your customer to vary the quantity to order for all line items in this price table, toggle the switch to On (green state) for Customer Can Change Qty To Order (All Price Lines In Price Table). Save and close.
Allow A Customer to choose "Quantity To Order " For A Group of Price Line Items
After creating your price line items in a sales quote price table, add a sub-heading above the price lines you want to group and allow your customer to vary the Quantity to Order.
To show the Sub-Heading options, hover over the sub-header bar and click on the three dots to the right of the row. The options will then be displayed. Select Options.
This will prompt the Options screen to pop up.
Toggle the switch for Customer Can Change Qty To Order, as shown below (green state means “on”). Save and close.
Allow a Customer to vary "Quantity To Order" for a Single Price Line Item
To set the 'Customer Can Change Qty to Order' setting for a single price item line, hover over the price item line and click on the three dots to the right of the row. The options will then be displayed. Select Options.
A window will pop up showing the possible settings for a single price line item.
Toggle the switch for Customer Can Change Qty To Order (green state means “on”). Save and close.
Click on the Preview button to view the option settings in place. As shown below, the QTY column is now editable for the customer to adjust the quantity for the permitted line items.
